Review - Abit BF6 |
|
Seeing that I'm kinda short on hardware now since I have a lot
of things on loan, I'll be deviating from my normal tests where I
throw a whole slew of hardware at it. This is great for finding any
potential compatibility issues of the review material.
With the situation the way it is, I'll be concentrating on what I
currently have.
Here's a rundown of my test rig:
Motherboard:
Abit BF6 Intel 440BX Motherboard (Bios Revision: RV 05/08/2000)
Processor:
Intel Pentium III-700 at 700 & 933
Video Card:
3DFX Voodoo3 3000 AGP (Driver: 1.04)
Sound Card:
Creative SoundBlaster Live! Value Digital
Memory:
TTI 128Mb., 8ns, PC100 SDRAM 3-3-3 (running at 2-2-2)
Hard Drive:
Maxtor 8.4Gb. UDMA33, 5400RPM
Other Drives:
Creative Infra 48x CD-Rom Drive
Panasonic 1.44Mb. Floppy Drive
Operating System:
Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition
Benchmarks:
SiSoft Sandra 2000 Standard
3DMark2000
Quake 3 Arena Timedemo
This is a bit too conservative for my taste but what can I do?
Let's get to the tests...
